On December 6, 2023, the presentation of the anniversary edition “Book, Illustration, and Printmaking – 100 Years at the National Academy of Art” took place at Gallery “Academy” at 1 Shipka Street. This publication brings together not only the history and development of the National Academy of Art (NAA), but also inspiring creative achievements driven by a love for the art of the book and printmaking.
I had the pleasure of being part of this edition. The opportunity to be in the company of so many talented and well-established authors over the years is an invaluable gift from which I will always draw inspiration. I would like to sincerely thank the entire department for their support and for extending a helping hand when I needed it most. They were the ones who awakened in me an endless love for letters and showed me how powerful the force of words and the art of printmaking can be.
It is an honor for me to contribute to the history of the National Academy of Art and to be among the contemporary creators who continue to carry the legacy of the book and illustration forward into the future.
