This book is the work of my friend and colleague Mariya Valkova — a project developed with exceptional attention to content, material, and typography. In it, Maria uses the Thalweg typeface, which accompanies the text discreetly and consistently, without imposing itself, instead supporting the rhythm and tone of the narrative.
The book is an example of how typography can be more than just a carrier of text, becoming an active participant in the overall experience — in the pauses, in the density of the pages, and in the way the reader moves through the story. For me, this project is especially valuable precisely because of the careful and meaningful dialogue between design, content, and typeface. With gratitude to Mariya Valkova! 😊
